The first art & wine festival of 2018 led me to the Mountain View Al A Carte & Art Festival. This was an opportunity for me to discover new ideas for future projects and to get inspiration for my booth at the 2018 Artist Alley at the Alameda County Fair this summer.
For the most part, it was pretty much the same stuff I saw at past shows, but of course they were all wonderful masterpieces and I’m amazed at how many different ways people create their projects! The one that surprised me the most was The Corker. The creator, Fred Albrecht uses different images and displays them on corks found on wine bottles. It’s almost exactly what Linda Cullen does with her bottle caps. No matter which one it is, they’re both a work of art!
Overall, this festival is a good starting point for my inspiration! As I continue to visit other ones, who knows what I’ll unlock next and how it’ll inspire me to create and have a successful sale this summer!
