To all the teams out there, good luck and have a great season!
The final leg of the Las Vegas Tour included places I didn’t get a chance to cover until today!
First stop was a bird’s eye view of the strip from the High Roller Wheel. This giant Ferris wheel is larger than the one you see at the county fair and you can have a bar service that’s perfect for celebrations and get-togethers!
Next were the other two casinos I wanted to see on my last visit, but never had the opportunity: Treasure Island & The Mirage. There were also some other places I wanted to revisit, but unfortunately I didn’t have enough time:
On the flip side, I did manage to visit the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, since I wasn’t able to do it on my first visit.
Overall, this trip to Las Vegas was even better than the first because I was able to see a lot more things and I got an opportunity to go to my first Vegas Pool Party, which was definitely the highlight of it all!
Can’t wait till my next visit to Las Vegas and to see where my next destination takes me!
The Las Vegas Tour continued with a Vegas Pool Party at the Drai’s Beachclub at The Cromwell Hotel and Casino.
This was one of my bucket list items to do in Vegas since I’ve heard a lot of people have done it. The most popular place to do it is at the Encore Beach Club at the Encore Hotel & Casino. However, the admission is about $100 and the bungalows and cabanas were around $3000!
After looking at several casinos that have pool parties, I decided to go with Drai’s Beachclub because the admission was $30 and was definitely a lot cheaper than Encore Beach Club. Every moment of this experience was totally worth the money!
With perfect weather and a great view of the strip, this was the perfect setting for a pool party! They had two pools for people to use with a walkway in between each one, bungalows and cabanas with pink sofas for lounging and hanging out with friends, a bar with refreshing drinks to enjoy, bar service from lovely ladies, a DJ playing upbeat funky music to get the party going, and beach balls to throw around the pool!
Overall, this was without question the highlight of the Vegas Tour because I got to experience a Vegas Pool Party in person and met a bunch of new friends to hang out with! I highly recommend this place to anyone whose looking for a pool party in Vegas at a reasonable price!
With one day left, there’s more to see and surprises to uncover!
Today’s tour of Las Vegas covered more ground than yesterday! This was basically casino hopping, going from one hotel to the next. Here’s a list of all the ones that were covered today:
While going through all the casinos, I wanted to find one that had a pool party for a reasonable price because the Encore Beach Club was the most expensive and I’ve heard a lot of people go there.
Out of all the ones I looked at, I chose the Drai’s Beach Club at The Cromwell Hotel & Casino and it looked reasonably priced, but let’s see if it’s worth the money.
Other highlights included winning $11 on BlackJack, riding the Las Vegas Monorail, and riding the Gondola at the Venetian Hotel.
Overall, this was an awesome day and there’s more to uncover as the tour continues on!
The Las Vegas Tour began with about an 8 hour drive with my dad and uncle from Fremont.
Upon arrival, the first stop at the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign to officially kick off the tour! Then, it was no waist of time for me to go down to the Vegas Strip to get the party started! Stops included the New York New York, the Cosmopolitan, the Aria, and Bellagio Hotels and Casinos.
With the bright lights and colorful scenery on the strip and casino, this was definitely an enjoyable experience! There were also tons of slots, card tables, and casino games to choose from, great souvenirs to take home, expensive dining options, and night clubs to really make it a party!
This is only the beginning because there will be tons more fun and March Madness games going down!
Anyone who’s planning to watch March Madness, here’s the schedule of all the games leading to the National Championship Game:
-First Four: March 18 – 19
-First Round: March 21 – 22
-Second Round: March 23 – 24
-Sweet 16: March 28 – March 30
-Elite 8: March 31
-Final 4: April 6
-National Championship: April 8
This will be an intense tournament to see who will be crowned the next champion!
Along those lines, I’ll be traveling to Las Vegas for the first and second rounds of the tournament and to revisit places I saw on my last trip during my 21st birthday in 2014!
Looking forward to this trip and may the best team win!
A lot of people have been complaining that no new cards have been made!
Well, the wait is finally over because the cards for 2019 arrived earlier this week and are ready to sell! Those who are interested in buying cards, they are $1 each or 6 for $5.
Also, for the first time, Kevin’s Cards has a new brochure that was created in my Graphic Arts Class at Laney College! This will give more information about Kevin’s Cards, how it’s evolved, and see some best selling paintings!
This will also be a great way to spread the word to new customers and will be displayed at future card sales and art shows!
With all this stuff ready, I’m hoping to sell a lot more than the past few years!
