Last night, I got an opportunity to see one of my friends from uCamps, Kylie, perform at the Village Theater and Art Gallery in Danville. Usually, I’ve seen them bits on social media and seen ads for her shows as well, but I’ve never got a chance to see them in person since most of them are in Southern California, where she’s currently resided. After seeing an ad for her performance in the Bay Area on Facebook, I knew that this was the perfect opportunity for me to see it in action. The performance consisted of songs written by her, and also some from The Voice’s Season 10 contestant, Ryan Quinn. All of the songs were awesome, but one of the best parts of the night was reuniting with old friends from uCamps that I haven’t seen in about three or four years. To top it all off, I was able to give her a bunch of my cards to congratulate on her awesome performance! When she got them, she was absolutely shocked and she asked, “Did you paint all of this?” Overall, I was so glad that I got a chance to see her performance in person and to give her my greeting cards in return! I hope her music career continues to develop for years to come!
