Painting Demos (Day 1)

Yesterday’s painting demos was slightly better than the last two years.

Even though it started off a little slow, I managed to distribute a lot of raffle tickets for drawing at the end of each demo. My only complaint was the easel the fair staff provided was a little wobbly, but thankfully it didn’t collapse.

During the raffle, a woman won 10 greeting cards based on the Alameda County Fair and a kid won the Mountain Haven painting I demoed.

I hope Sunday turns out better as I plan to get a larger crowd and give out more raffle tickets. In addition, I’ll get a different easel for the other two paintings I’ll demonstrate.
