Yesterday’s sale was another good one.
Before the fair opened, a Vendor Breakfast was held for all the vendors including a raffle for several prizes. One person got a Kevin’s Cards Calendar in which I donated. There were four baskets with Alameda County Fair merchandise in which I wanted to win. Sure enough, I ended up winning one of them with two coffee mugs, a blanket, and a cookbook with recipes from several members of the fair. However, for the fourth consecutive year, I missed out on getting the Vendor Award.
As for the sale itself, fair coordinator, Sarah Pease bought two paintings right when the fair opened. About an hour later, another person bought a painting as well. As usual, it ran a little slow. So once again, I had to see Michele Plunge to bring me good luck.
Just when I thought I wasn’t going to get any more sales, band member from the Honky Tonk Band, Jimmy Ashley bought three cards. But the real surprise was a guy bought 20 greeting cards right before the fair closed.
As the sale continues, I’m hoping to get a larger increase on sales with even more surprises!
