Yesterday’s “Celebrate Summer” Sale got off to a little slow start.
Even though I’m there for 10 days and the weather’s nicer than last year, I thought for sure I wasn’t going to sell anything at all. Two and a half hours later, I was able to sell two paintings done on oval canvases.
While it was off to a good start, I still needed some luck. As I’ve done the previous years, I had to go see Michele Plunge because every time I see her, somehow I end up doing better. Turns out the theory was true as I was able to sell a greeting card and she came to the booth to get a painting.
As it got slower at night, I was able to sell one more oval painting before we closed.
I’m hoping for a stronger sale as the days continue!
