Yesterday’s 4th of July sale didn’t go exactly as planned.
Before the fair opened, the booth was redesigned in order for people to see my paintings. Even though it was going to be really busy because of the fireworks show, no day sales for the fourth day in a row. As usual, I went to see Michele Plunge and gave her a note to make her feel better after missing out on the Gold Star Award.
Despite all this, I was only able to sell one greeting card and one painting. Overall, it didn’t turn out the way I wanted to. Since it’s the 10th Anniversary of my grandfather Honesto Tria’s passing, I’m hoping for a better turnaround and to close out the first half on a strong note.
