10th Anniversary Sale (Day 2)

Yesterday’s sale was a surprise.

Before the fair opened, a Vendor Breakfast was held for all the vendors and there was a raffle for prizes that people donated. In honor of Kevin’s Cards 10th anniversary, I created a package containing all of Kevin’s Cards items including a pack of greeting cards, a 2027 calendar, my three books, the new Kevin’s Cards magazine, and three paintings from the painting demos. However, I missed out on the award for the fifth year in a row.

For the first time in history, a customer bought two paintings right before we even opened for the second day in a row. Just like yesterday, it was very slow which got me a little upset. I thought for sure that this was going to be worse since 2017.

Luckily, Jim Ashley from the Honky Tonk Saloon was able to purchase a few cards which started to change things in a positive way. During my break, I happened to see Michele Plunge for her support. Just when I was about to give up, the sales started to increase with greeting cards being sold. The biggest highlight was meeting Shawn Ryan from Camp YATC in person after seeing posts about camp.

Overall, it went from disaster to a complete success, thanks to Michele Plunge because if I didn’t see her, none of this would’ve happened. Hoping for an even better sale today!
